Three years ago, Evelyn enltered the dear old E-dueational Hall, New Holland High School. Al- though she was a total stranger to the class, she soon became acquainted with everyone. She joined us in our Sophomore year, and has worked with us ever since, making her three years successful. Although Evelyn is good in her studies, she is also equally good in her extra activities, such as basketball and cheerleading. She has also taken part in activities such as the senior play and other plays during her years here. Being the editor-in-chief of the Town Clock News this year, she has accomplished great success for herself an-d her Alma Mater. EMMA KATHRYN FRANKHOUSER AUGUST 2, 1920 NEW HOLLAND, PA. If you hear some one asking for Kit,' or Kitty, it is none other than Kathryn Frankhouser, the flashy forward of the girls' basketball teafm, who is being summoned. She may appear quiet and unassuming, but underneath it all lies much gayety and wit, which is always bubbling over, and has helped endear her to her friends. Besides being a good basketball player, Kit is one of the speediesrt typists in the school. Kit is an attractive blond and the boys have already fallen for her-but beware . . . Kit can you cook? As yet she cfan't cook, but she claims it won't take her long to learn. LUELLA MARTIN GEHMAN FEBRUARY 7, 1921 EAST EARL, PA. Home Economics Club 111 g Glee Club 11, 2, 3, 41 3 Operetta 12, 3, 413 Senior Play 141 g Leoninus 1413 May D-ay 141. Luella, ,the Cleopatra of the senior class, hails from the fair village of East Erarl. She is a gnand smpecimen of an all around sport, and if you don't believe this, consult Eugene Good. Her hobbies are reading and sleeping, although she does like eating rather well. Her favorite expression is For cat's sake, which she lets loose once in a while. Gehman is always willing to bake part in anything she is asked to, and has -taken part in the senior play and other activities. She is very studious and always has her school work prepared. Whenever you hear a perfect recitation floating through fthe air, you can be sure its owner is Eathel. Brendle does not spend all her time at her books, but she takes part in school activities, .and will always do what is asked of her. She is ia friend to all and will lend a helping hand to her classmates. Ethel's pet expression is: Want to buy some candy? which she uses during the noon hour, as she sells candy for the Senior Class. FLOYD MERVIN BUCH JULY 1, 1920 GROFFDALE, PA. Senior Play 141 9 Class Officer 131, at West Elarlg .also Senior Play 131, at West Earl. Merv entered our class this year, as a senior, after graduating from West Earl Township High School. He 'always has something to talk about to someone. Mew caught on quickly to the require- ment of our high school, and he has been in the average class of students. Buch appreciates -sports, which was shown by his alttendling' as many basketball games as possible. He is also interested in activities, as he took part in the senior play and also assembly periods. Marv is rather small, but he can hold his own in everything that comes along. CHARLOTTE IRENNE DIEM MARCH 19, 1920 NEW HOLLAND, PA. Home Craft Club 111g Commencement Committee 141g May Day 141. Charlotte is 0-ne of the quiet, sensible, and industrious members of the senior class. She takes a great interest in her school work, an-d does whatever is asked of her. Her ch-ief interests are in the commercial subjects. She is fitted for this occupation, because she is neat and careful in her work as well as in her appearance. We don't know whether Bob is more interested in his 'horses or his schoolwork, but he is good in both fields. Besides his horsemsanship, he also displays sportsmanship, by his ability to play basketball, on the varsity team. , Bolb is also noted for his popularity among the opposite sex both in and around school. He is a friend to all, -and a big, kind-hearted boy with not much to lose and everything to gain, as he expresses it. WARREN EUGENE GOOD DECEMBER 7, 1920 BOWMANSVILLE, PA. Glee Club 1113 Sports Club 1113 Leoninus 141, Field and Track 13, 41. Goodie, the second Tyrone Power, goes through school with a smile, and often gives the fel- lows a bit of laughter to digest their school work, by telling one of his home-made jokes. Gene is often seen with one of the opposite sex of our class, namely Lwella. In ltixme of trouble Jeep,' is there to lend a helping hand, and what can be more ,appreciated than A friend in need. Eugene's ambition is to -become ia barber, and he expects to take up that field after graduation. MARK HOUSHOWER JULY 20, 1920 BOWMANSVILLE, PA. Leoninus 141, Sports Club 1115 Glee Club 11, 2, 3, 41, Town Clock News 141g Oper- etta 12, 3, 41 3 Class Day Committee 141. Mark hails from Bowmansville, and although that town is la little ways off, he has seldom missed a ,day of school. We wonder, as we look at M-ark, whatever made him get such a haircut, because really it makes him look unusual. To his pals, Mark is known was Hu.s'hey, but to others he is known as Mark. He is the second Lawrence Tibbet and out of school he is none other than Clark Gable to the opposite sex. Hushey does good work in his classes, and besides this he takes a great interest in other activi- ties. Among his various activities, his most outstanding is his ability in singing Dutch songs. He talks plenty, but when it comes to saying anything that's entirely different. But in spite of not saying anything, he has the class laughing, Whenever there's a chance.
