Senior class retires float trophy Homecoming spirit was sparked by a crackling bonfire. Fans brightly clad in yellow mums jammed the stadium to watch the kick-off between the Bull- dogs and the Concordia Cadets. Amid all the hoots and hollers, it was all the way down the field to a 6-6 deadlock. iles and miles of tissue and crepe paper con- stituted float constructions. For the Class of ' 70, all the long hours and hard work paid off. Winning the float contest for the third consecutive year, entitled the class to retire the float trophy. Rallies and a pep session featuring " The Ugliest Thing in the World " boosted Bulldog spirit. The marching band and the NJROTC drill team added to the half-time festivities. A new queen ' s reign and a dance to the Atlantis in the girl ' s gym brought an exciting Homecoming to a close.
