The purpose is to increase interest in inter- pretive dancing and to show feelings or moods through modem dance techniques. The girls performed in the annual Variety Show and also put on their own dance re- cital for the public, both of which they found very interesting and enjoyable, al- though it took a lot of hard practicing and work to complete their numbers.
