The Bulldogs , with eight seniors on the squad, placed second in the Boonville Tournament, won the Glasgow Tournament, won our own tournament , tied for first in the conference, and placed second in the Regional Tournament held at Fayette. In doing this , the Bulldogs compiled one of the finest records that a New Franklin team has ever had--a record of 29 wins and 4 losses. Their merit was not only in winning ball games , but also in the way they conducted themselves and represented their school. F , Q - if Q .,. X , . 3 fi- -. Coach Ballew's sophomore-laden squad showed a lot of spirit, desire, and hustle. The girls got off to a rather bad start but improved considerably as they gained more experience. TYIGY took consolation honors in our own tourna- ment. Even though they did not have an excellent won and lost record, they should still be commended for the way they represented their school and for the fine attitude they displayed in winning or losing.
