CLASS HISTORY In the year 1941, we reluctantly left our sandboxea and threw away our mud pies and eagerly started up the ladder of education Our first eight steps were completed without much trouole with only a few of our classmates losing their balance On the nineth step we chose Bob wern as our leader with Don Bowen and Pat Prosser as assistants The Sweetheart Ball was our big success As an added triumph we won the trophy cup for presenting the best assembly of the year In our sophmore year, convinced of Bob Wern's ability of leadership we again chose him to lead us He was ably assisted by Bob Garrison, Mary Margaret Cunningham, and Pat Prosser We chose Mrs Cowl as our sponsor As a means of making money we started the sale of high school pencils and used some of the proceeds to nresent the Gold Digger's Ball Our tenth step found us very busy in our important Junior year Again we elected Bob Wern and his same assistants of the preceeding year to lead us We chose Miss Marshall to watca over us We completed a success our school years was the Prom and B nquet where we carrned our HHawaiian Cruisen theme At last came our Senior year, the 1 st step up the ladder for many, but just the beginning of higher education for others with Wern as our leader, Garrison, Cunningham and Shenefield as assistants under the sponsorship of Mr Endry, we made the best of our final year among our classmates We published the nPebbleN and gave the Gold Digger's Ball when we entered high school, each and everyone of us had certain ideals which we hoped to attain Were these ideals attainedo Ye some were and some were not Others are being realized. ful magazine sale and gave the Holly Hop.
