Class History cont'd. Even those enjoyable days as juniors were destined to fade into the past for, after completing eleven years of study, twelve students became the Class of '48, namely: Marlyn Avenson, Kenneth Fairchild, Elaine Otteson, Beverly Wambolt, Gerald Laughlin, Paul Case, Muriel Dudley, Donald Nielson, Rollo Buck, Oscar Burchett, Dorothy Hitchcock, and Palmer Emblom, who later transferred to Laporte. Though many had joined the ranks of the class throughout the years, so had many left or discontinued until only eleven were awarded the great do'cu.ment, the graduation diploma in 1948. The year as seniors included--psychological examinations--work in numerous school activities, and plans for a post-high school future. The class of 1948, no longer the little men and women they were twelve years ago, have covered the vast fields of fundamental knowledge. Several of them will continue in the future years as students, but all in their various strides, will have happy re- collections of their school days.
