I-1 vivo? it Q NHAA Board 1IPlllb9I'S-Sfllildlilgf Miss Sappington, Dorothy Franke, Mary Albers Seated: Rose Glennon, Shirley 0'Hare, Gwen Lavin Betty Renard, Elaine Prevallet Devising a new method for awarding sm-hool letters was the first oliieial act of the Athletic Association. The old point system was abolished and it was planned to give letters to those who pnrtiripate in intramural athletics, sneh as the mein- bers ol' the winning teams in tournaments, ns well as to Varsity members. Riders and bowlers vontinued their acl tivities under NHAA sponsorship. The association also vonduoted intramural tournaments in volleyball. basketball, and softball. The board topped off the yearis sporting events with Field Day in May.
