DEDICATION The memory of Mr: Carson Barlow will live forever in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved him. His wise council, encouraging word, friendly smile, and helping hand will not be forgotten by the hundreds of students and teachers with whom he was associated throughout his thirty years as principal of Neosho High School. To students and teachers alike, Mr, Barlow symbolized and steadfastly upheld the highest of virtues - honesty, tolerance, justice, patience, sincerity, and loyalty. Mr. Barlow was more than our principalg for to us all he will ever remain in our hearts a true friend, an understanding leader, and a man of great character. It is to his memory, therefore, that we humbly and respectfully dedicate Tl-IE WILDCAT of 1958. 'Fumes T. This year's annual staff has proventobea group of eager workers. With the help of editor, Richard Branham, and the sponsor Miss Wilson, thegroup was shown how to prepare an annual. First of all, the editor and sponsor had to de- termine the ntunber ofpages and how and where every- thing was going to go. After that the staff helped with the taking of the pictures. Pictures were taken of the students, clubs, sports, activities, et Cetera. Much time was put in by the members of the staff when they received their story assignments. After the stories were in, they had to betyped up and sent in with all the pictures. Inter-Collegiate Press was chosen as the pub- lisher and Mr. Murphy was chosen as the photo- grapher. The final product of the many hours work put in by the staff comes out when the WILDCAT is issued to the students at the Yearbook Assembly in May. . MM I .JJ XP! IX 1 . The people composing the organization feel as though it is a privilege and a pleasure to be a part of it so it is a group that we can be very proud of also. The performances given by the chorus have been many and varied. They range from entertain- ing us in our assemblies to singing in other towns and cities in our section of the United States. They also provide the all-school Sweetheart 's Ball in Feb- mary.
