The season started' off bad for the Pups when they were defeated by a rangy Marietta squad. But as the season wore on the team showed evidence of vast im- provement under their able coach Mr. Wiley. The Pups defeated Logan 21-20 in a thriller but dropped an equally tough one to Athens 22-21 in a game which was close throughout. The last game of the season was a tough one and the Hounds lost to Wellstor in an overtime. However they finished fourth in the league with a promise of even better years ahead. 1 5 S 4 The U FIRST RONV Cleft to llghtb Rose Mau Maltll Judy Betts Kate Johhso Nancy Kueg Jo n Sheets B ll Vaughn CPIESJ Maxy Louxse Kontnex Tfd Them s Wavehre Hartman Arn O1wl1 1 SECOND ROW Cleft to Ilghtp Cldle ce Woouy Helen Mlner CHISLOIIHHJ Maly Ell n Donley CSec Txeasb P t Dau helty Jare H1 kman Lols Ray Spe cer Steemod Ann Pleston CV Pres?
