CD CLASS HISTORY OF NEGREET SENIORS 1949-50 ONE BRIGHT SEPTEMBER MORNING IM 1938 WE AWOKE BEFORE DAWN, EAGER TO GO TO SCHOOL AND BEGIN OUR EDUCATION, AS IS CHARACTERISTIC OF ALLCHILDREN ON THAT SPECIAL DAY, WE WERE vERY EXCITED, THE MOST IMPORTANT INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED THAT DAY WAS THAT THERE wERE NOT ENOUGH LITTLE RED CHAIRS FOR EVERYONE TO HAVE A PLACE TO SIT. MISS ZORA MILLER, OUR TEACHER, HAD SOME APPLE CRATES UPON WHICH SHE PLACED SOME OF US.
