A group of ladies and gentlemen we always seem to take for granted but with- out whom we could never manage are our staff workers. Ruth Randolph and Colin Anderson are our security officers. They do their best to protect us and keep us out of trOUDiS. Our won- derful cafeteria workers, Marie Ridge, Mae Pierce, Pat Alexander, Pat Rehm, Sara Tafoya, and Mary Martin, slave and cook for us, not to mention cleaning up after the daily tornado that hits the cafe- teria! Last, but certainly not least, are our custodians, George Dunn, Roger Eye, and Bill Harmon. They work hard and long cleaning up our messes and fixing all of those little things that always seem to break. 1. Joy Davis gives us her best pose. 2. It takes a lot of skill to teach a class of 45 efficiently, a lot of preparation to teach that class thoroughly, a lot of patience to actually help students under- stand and gain knowledge, and a lot of enthusiasm to make the sub- ject fun and keep the students interested. We ' re grateful to know that at Neff, we certainly have teachers who fill the bill. How about all the CA. CllSGS they had to put up with: It wasn ' t my fault that I ' m ten minutes late, there was a train! But my book ' s in Joe ' s lock- er and he ' s absent today! But to- day ' s Monday — you can ' t give us a test on Monday! Oh yes, it ' s not always easy being a teacher. But when students begin to un- derstand assignments, use skills and thank you for all the help you ' ve given them, teaching can be very rewarding.
