Their biggest and final year at N.H.S. arrived at last. The play, nThe Campbells Are Coming,N starring Barbara Jonas, brought much enjoyment. Their sneak to the Hualapi Mountains was a huge success except that Jo Hilligardt couldn't stand on her feet--so got knocked out having a good time. When it comes to beauty, Rosemary Battlase won booby-prize dress- ed in her 18th century night cap and long underwear. Iva Marie Porter, annual editor, busily worked and slaved over the seniors remarkable con- tribution to literature, WThe Mystic Mazen while class members counted her gray hairs. The uVa1entine Dayn and U3R'sU were their last two dances given for the N.H.S. student body. Like a period at the end of a sentence, class day, Baccalareate service Junior-Senior banquet, and Commencement exercises brought a close to happy memories for the class of 'AA at N.H.S. I A

The ninth grade found them in the school activities by sponsoring the dance, with everyone checking their their shoes in another. Teter practically beat their heads in to get those hard working juniors lkidding of coursef ready was a enter- this trying for the play UAlmost Summer.n It seems that the leading man, Floyd Jones, found it much easier to sit on the stage than go through actions until about the day of the performance. But, it turned out'a big success and was presented for an extra showing. The major event of the year featured the Junior Prom. The theme was NMoonlight and Roses,W and the gym was made into a rose arbor. Everything was hunky dory until the Wdawn broken and the desert winds came-positively wrecking the rose arbor. The grand march was led by Jack Murray, President of the class and Shirley Sprague, Queen of Prom. Euel Teter and John Atkins were chosen to go to boys state. The class swimming picnic turned out to be a land party when the pool was found dry. What a classilllllll The final event of the year was the junior-senior theatre banquet, honoring the graduates. O
