After dinner the guests pooled their talents to put on a program that will make history as the most caloused crime since Jack the Ripper broke loose. Master of ceremony for the culture slaughter was shoe shinner Floyd Jones. You remember. Floyd Jones---the man the class of 'AA' voted Wmost likely ton ---- . They never could decide what he would be most likely to do next. He introduced Ignacio Arguelles and his dancing jumping beans, which included Helen Andrade, Margaret Lara, Ester Armenta, and Carmen Rodriquez. The gals immediately put a. motion before the house. X Jack Shuey, the poor man's Clark Gable, 'and his leading lady Barbara Jonas put on a play called ULove Flew Out the Window and the Flies Flew In,n a little offering written by freshly paroled Jo Hilligardt. Then out of nowhere came Rosemary Battlase, the female version of Frank Sinatra, to sing a song. She was accompanied on the violin by Ella Lawrence, who's version of the 'BumblebeeN ran Jack Benny stiff competition. ' To end the program Jane Qlaypool read one of her famous poems, after which she passed around free aspirin tablets. But' drama critics, Priscilla Vehlow and Dorothy English owere beyond all earthly aid. As 9 o'clock rolled around, Sunday school teacher Robert McCue suggested the class retire. Ditch digger Lueille Burwell seconded the motion. Before retiring chorus girls Mable Ford and Helen Allen tripped over and broke a water pipe while practising their latest dance numbers. Since no telephone was available on the WFragrant Ranch,U Donald Johnson, champion hog caller for California, was asked to use his lungs to summonlplumbers fro the nearby town. Plumbers John Atkins, and his assistants Don Henshaw and Max Dunn only arrived 3 hours late, and by that time star swimmers, Roberta Walthall and Corrine Crew had taught the guests to swim. That night Mrs, Brenan, world famous traveler, tried to break up a noisy card game between professional card shark Jack Carr and a few of the boys. By beating on the wall for half an hour, she finally got a ref sponse from Jack when he yelled that it was a heck of a time to be hanging pictures. - The following day, Shirley Sprague, seeing a chance to make a nickel or two, set up her moveable barber shop. As she 'was cutting Betty McCarty's hair, Emma Gene Hopkins remarked how fond the Sprague dog was of watching the process of hair cutting. To which Shirley replies Nlt ain't that, sometimes I snip off a bit of a customer's ear.n
