Pep Club sponsored buses went to a majority of out of town football and basketball games. At the end of the sports season the pep club decorated and served the Athletic Banquet. The members contributed to the Homecoming half-time ceremonies by forming a heart around the band on the football field. They also decorated a float which took second place in the contest and decorated the armory for the dance. Bob Sporhase and Marlene Higgs sponsored the organization during this year. The Future Homemakers of America started their 1965-66 year with the annual FHA District 1 meeting held at N.C.H.S. At this Convention new district officers were appointed, and a fashion show was held in which the girls from this district modeled clothing they had made. FHA Week, in March, had a great deal in store for the FHA'ers. Some projects for the week were attending church, decorating window displays, writing articles for the newspaper, and the crowning of Little Miss FHA.
