Roberts, Leonard Crook, Chris Kohout, Dan Weber, Larry Schreiner, Dwane Campbell, Dennis Shrewsbury Front Row: Jo Copenhaver, Linda Cress, Laurine Oberdieck, Cindy Sackles Back Row: Tim Crook, Bill National Honor Society The National Honor Society consisted of 18 seniors, with Mr. Abernathy as sponsor. Meetings were held in the auditorium whenever necessary to discuss projects. Members were elected by the faculty on the basis of leadership, citizenship, and scholorship. Twelve seniors were elected during the last part of their junior year, and six were elected in the middle of their senior year. National Honor Society did a lot of work in organizing projects, considering all the members belong to other activities. I wo projects were a Symposium on Juvenile Delinquency and the program on Community Development with Representative Clair Callan as guest speaker. Officers this year were Judy Hughes, President; Leonard Crook, Vice President; and Laurine Oberdieck, Secretary-Treasurer. J. Gress, S. Badberg, J. Brust, C. Gray, S. Slemp, D. Ennen; New Honor Society Members.

Student Council The Student Council for 1965-66 was headed by Bill Roberts, President; Dan Weber, Vice President; Jo Copenhaver, Secretary; and Judy Hughes, Treasurer. Bill Abernathy and Harvey Bettenhausen are the faculty advisors. Student Council consists of National Honor Society members and representatives from each home room. Student Council had a very busy year with such activities as phone book delivery, Homecoming parade and dance; new furniture for commons area. Holiday Dance, spring cleanup of the school grounds and Fun Night. Their main project was the trophy case at the Southeast entrance. Projects find their origin at these meetings. 20
