THE MEN BEHIND THE SCENES The photographers are the backbone of our yearbook. They are perhaps the most sought after people in the whole school. The big boss of this group is Charlie Ott, senior, and assisting him are: Jerry Skinner, senior; Gerald “George” Jensen, junior; Bill Davis, sophomore; and Ron Wurtele, sophomore. These boys are responsible for taking and processing all the pictures for the Pioneer and Otoean except the portraits. Becoming a senior photographer takes two and one-half years apprenticeship. Since we have no photography class, junior and senior boys train the underclassmen. UPPER RIGHT: Charles Ott checking the camera. MIDDLE RIGHT: Numerous photography equipment. LOWER RIGHT: Bill Davis and Ron Wurtele using enlarger. LOWER LEFT: Gerald Jensen preparing to take a picture.
