FACTS AND FORMULAS DEPARTMENT Paul Christensen and Larry Cole In die process of a chemical experiment. ARE FIRST IN THIS Teaching students to solve problems through logical thinking is the aim of the mathematics department. Plane geometry creates an appreciation of geometric forms in nature and industry. Algebra teaches the use and value of math in business and scientific fields. The science department offers a study course designed to acquaint students with the structure of our world--organic and inorganic. Weekly laboratory periods allow time for the application of classroom knowledge by performing experiments requiring adeptness in handling scientific equipment.
