V A man 's Service Record is probably the most important document he will have in the Navy, and keeping the infor- mation accurate and up to date is a time-consuming and ceaseless job. Next-of-kin information, awards and promo- tion dates, enlistment contracts and leave are just a few of the things that are in a Service Record, and are kept in proper order through the Personnel OfHce. 6 PN1 Rodriguez and PNSN Maltzen check records for accuracy.
