The football players on one fire truck and the pep band on another fire truck led the procession through town. Pep talks by faculty members and yells and songs provided the enter- tainment, climaxed by the announce- ment and crowning of Queen Janet Lindsey and King Don Shirley. During the Pep Rally an "N" was burning on the hill, so that it was visible from the school. The activities were continued on Friday night with the Toppenish- Nachos football game. Half-time entertainment consisted of the in- troduction of Queen Janet and King Don and a marching expedition by the band and drill team. The final activity of the 1958 Homecoming festivities was the annual Homecoming Dance. The theme this year was "Moonlight Madness" carried out by "spooky" decorations. Swede Miller and his Dixieland Band provided the music for the evening. The Homecoming activities this year were a success because of the cooperation of all the students and faculty. ,71 .ff- f .fp ' 1 1: f 1. . iff. ,,.--.-,ag , .. 4-,nv -- ,fx pf '1 ' . 3, 1, Qs' ..' 5,1 ,.' ..f .Yg- fg- n. , '-. ,,,-.- , .f-4.-N:-M, ' i'n . .
