FOREWORD In order to preserve precious memories of school days, we edit this booi ' C, The Myrialog. There are two reasons for its publica- tion — to record the accomi)lishments and deeds of the class of ' 55 and to keep in lasting memory the pleasant associations made dur- ing our sojourn at our Alma Mater. If in years to come memories may be recalled by scanning these pages, our efforts shall not have been in vain. The first publication of a yearbook began in 1921. The tradi- tion continued for two years, then the book lapsed. The class of 1949 again published a yearbook, giving it the title, The Myrialog. Now, we, the class of ' 55, continue this tradition. In future years, when we have each gone oui- own way, it is hoped that this yearbook will remind them oif the grand times enjoyed during theii- stay at Myerstown High School.

Tribute We wish to pay tribute to Miss Mabel C. Immei, who so willingly gave of her time and effort to make our senior vear a success. Without her able assistance we would not have been near as fortunate in our Landis and Landis Club, Magazine sales, the Fair, and in the publication of this yearbool;. Without her hand pushing us forward we would never have been able to attain our goal, the New York trip. To her now. in order to show our ap- preciation, wc pay this tribute.
