Dr. Laird W. Lewis Dr. William Self Principal Superintendent Myers Park Receives Re-Accreditation Hopes for a successful school year were realized through the excellent coordination of the administration staff at Myers Park. Dr. Lewis worked diligently to develop better communi¬ cation and understanding between fac¬ ulty and students. This year, Myers Park underwent a Re-accredition Survey. In preparation for the final evaluation which was held in April, all departments con¬ ducted a thorough self-evaluation of all phases of the school curriculum. All teachers worked long hours after classes ended to make sure that their departments met the required stan¬ dards. The re-evaluation was con¬ ducted by a team of educators from high schools and colleges all over the state who observed classes in all de¬ partments at Myers Park.
