This line leads to the basement of the library where overdue bills are paid, SHIELDS are purchased, Student Organization fees are assessed . . . confusion! Registration is the obstacle course which is a prerequisite to the inner sanctums of the academic community. Anyone who can endure registration with its seemingly endless lines, flurry of cards, closing classes, ump-teen million fees, snarling professors, and leering students selling chances on old term papers, gold-trimmed, pearl-encrusted pogo sticks, or a life-size portrait of Ringo, deserves a medal . . . but the line forms at the rear, Hurry Up and Wait! With apprehension and disbelief, students gaze on as their fees are assessed. 5 i i Nearing the end of the line, Tommy Taylor appears pleased as he gains admission to the Dean's table.
