As Seniors Achieve Athletic And Scholastic Awards Begging hall monitors Tom Barrows, Jerry Crowell and Bob Allen to get through the halls is senior Mary Jo Slettom. The hall monitors, an important part of the noon hour, are stationed at the end of each hail and at doorways. They keep stu- dents out of the halls and on school grounds during the lunch periods. Hall monitors are given a credit in school service and are chosen by Mr. George Rose. They are members of the Student Council. Ready t-o serve customers at the AFS chicken barbeque on July 4 are Joan Coffman, Jane Gilie, Susan Smith, Eliza- beth Frost, Andrea Shuster and Carole Barthold. When fund raising efforts during the school year failed to raise sufficient funds to finance an AFS student, members of the senior class began to look for ways to raise the money.
