Here sophomore girls are gaining useful knowledge and know how both for the present and the future. They are sewing fashionable clothes for their wardrobes under the direction of Mrs. Anne Fisker, home economics instruc- tor. Laying out patterns are, left to right, Donna Hennessy, Carolyn Lieder, Mary Cooney, Gloria Biedler, and Marcia Manke. The girls learn the importance of designing and planning before they begin the actual cut- ting. The interesting part comes when each girl learns to suit the pattern to her individual taste to make the garment hers. Color com- binations are also a part of the class training as well as is cooperation and helpfulness. ophomores Begin Senior High Sophomores-102 Row 1 Margaret Kurz, Ju- dith Koep, Susan VanZan- den, Renee Josephson, Jo- Ann Merrill, Susan Hunt O Norma Jean Bruce, Laura Lindorfer, Susanne Berg, Sharon Sandgren, Judith Sweet 0 Victoria Bone, Linda Hillstrom, Mary Brast- ed, Eileen Nordstrom, Paul Morloek, John Risbrudt O Richard Alexander, George Wirtz, Roger Novak, Victor Borgeson, John Landis, Den- nis Tellander.
