Our teachers have been the most important
single force in guiding us, giving unseliishly of
their time, knowledge, and energy to make us
better and wiser individuals. They have trained
not only our minds but our characters, teaching
us the basic virtues of respect, industry, and co-

have devoted their lives, Wish to re-emphasize
the gratitude and appreciation we feel for them.

The kitchen staff of Murray High is
as important a part of the machinery
of the school as any business or
administrative facility, as the students
who participated in the hot lunch
program well know. The cooks spent
many hours of thought and work to
make each week's lunches nourishing
and attractive, and their contribution
is appreciated.

Our school was always kept clean
and neat, thanks to the hard work of
our squadron of custodians, led by Mr.
Pond. The halls and classrooms were
a pleasure to look at and be in be-
cause of their spotlessness. Our cus-
todians have done an excellent job
this year and deserve our congrat-
ulations.
With Steve Brinton at the helm of
Murray High, the school progressed
in many ways. His friendly manner
and genuine interest in the welfare
of the students combined with his in-
telligence and hard Work to make his
administration one of the most il-
lustrious in our history.

Kent Jensen, the Hrst male secretary in many
years, aptly proved that a gentleman can handle
the paperwork and business records of the school
as well as any lady. He has given a great deal
in the way of support of worthy activities, en-

a fine one.

Some of the hardest-working and most helpful students in the school con-
tributed immeasurable time and effort to making the various school organizations
eflieient and Worthwhile. Those who participated in any of these extracurricular
activities found the experiences educational and rewarding, and the entire student
body benefited from their endeavors.

The eagerly-awaited school publication, the Murray
Co-Round, was circulated among the students seven
times this year. Its information and entertainment-filled
pages gave us an enjoyable change of pace and often
highlighted important social events by appearing on the
days of such activities. Connie Oliver, Editor, and her
advisor, Mrs. Ward, have done an excellent job in their
journalistic undertakings.

Murray High's Key Club, led by
Richard Neal and Paul Christian, per-
formed many valuable services for the
school this year, most important of which
was the publication and distribution of
the M-book, our student directory. They
also sponsored candy sales and spirit
contests, all of which helped promote
good feeling and enthusiasm among the
