In a stage production there are those who are not on stage to receive the applause, but without their efforts there could not have been a play. Any honors that may come to us, the students of Murrah, and to our school would not have been possible if you, the members of the faculty, had not been so patient, had not answered our confused questions, had not made us work harder than we wanted, and had not encouraged our efforts when we needed it. We have been in your care for one third of each day for five days a week for thirty-seven weeks, and if there could be a second dedi- cation to our annual it would be to you, the faculty.

Mr. Howard leland, This is the fourth time that lVlurrah has com- pleted a sehool year and for four years lVlr. Cleland has encouraged, inspired and guided this school to the high position it now holds. Through the past years Murrah has Won nation- wide acclaim, not only in scholastic achieve- ments, but also in extra-curricular activities. lVlany honors have been added to the history of lVlurrah and more are being added each year. 'l'hroughout this time lVlr. Cleland has been pre- sent to advise and to give help whenever needed.
