JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY The Juniors enrolled as Freshmen in 1940 to the number of fifty-three and ended the year with forty- eeven. One of the successes of the year was in crowning Willard Ballard king of the Halloween Carnival. Initiation week was a lot of fun for everyone. The banquet given them by the Sophomores was enjoyed very much. When they enrolled as Sophomores, two pupils were missing, leaving them only forty-one. Their efforts to crown Virginia Cullum as queen of the Halloween Carnival failed, but made them more de- termined to win the following year. As Juniors they are now thirty-three in number. They have worked hard and proved themselves capable ot taking over the duties of Seniors in 1943-44.
