SENIOR CLASS HISTORY The Seniors are now very proud Although it's whispered, and not very loud, That many of our boys are soon to be Fighting in the Services for victory. Some of our girls will probably be WAACS, Giving the Japs some pretty hard cracks, Working by the side of our boys Whofve given up homes and many joys. we urge them on to victory In their fight for our Liberty. We'll do our part in every way By lending 10? of all our pay. we started as Freshmen with forty-one enrolled. It was a year of enjoyment, in which we learned the ways of a high school pupil. As Scphomores there were thrity-eight of us. Three had been lost along the way. In that year the Hallowen Carnival was a success, since we won the cake. Our banquet given for the Freshmen was also a success. As Juniors we enrolled with thirty-three pupils. we worked hard and looked forward to the year 1942, when we would take up the responsibilities of Seniors. our efforts put forth in the Halloween Carnival were greatly rewarded, when we succeeded in crowning Kathryn Barton as queen. We, the Seniors of 1942-43, have finally reached our goal. Thirty of us have come through with flying colors. Three members of our class are officers of the Junior P.T.A., namely, Herbert M ssey, Presidentg Wilford Pickard, Vice-Presidentg Eddie Haddad, Sec- retary and Treasurer. we are new looking forward to graduation and afterwards toward doing our part in bringing about victory in the war.
