SENIOR CLASS POEM Where have I been for ten long years? It's now '53 and we see no tears. Here are the seniors of '43 Gathered together for us to see. Here is our president, handsome James Moore, He still has the sweethearts by the scoreg He is happy and proud as you can see-- He's the most beautiful man of '55. Ann Simonton, it was until three years ago, Is now Mrs. Pickard she wants you to know. She quit all her courting, dating, and things, Just in order to wear those two little rings. Here's the former Miss Polly Doyle Who used to--in the bank--would toil. we thought she'd work there all her life, But now she's become the banker's wife. Admiral Massey, I do believe, Home from Toyko on permanent leaveg Herbert's new head of the Naval bosses, Having earned ten distinguished service crosses Carol Lloyd, the one whom we hold so dear, I'll tell you just why she isn't here: She's working hard on our tax rates-- She's president of the United States. J. WL DeLashmit is farming still, Planting watermelons on a hill, He plants corn and also cotton, To work it right, it keeps him trottin'. For our ticket sales girl, Helen Baddour, A rapid promotion was almost sureg She's now on Broadway in all the best plays, Because of her beauty and alluring ways.

SENIOR CLASS POEM --- Continued lhlter Everton with his curly hair Has attracted all the women fairg And since nothing special in them could he see, A jolly old bachelor he turned out to be. Here is news of Miss Ann Lee Ross, In the Powder Plant now she's production bossg She works quite hard all the day through Telling the people just what to do. Gwinn Bomar is our cowboy of the open skiesg He says he will live there until he dies. Of all the things in this beautiful west, Those beautiful girls are what he likes best. In a hospital is Kathryn Mills, All she does is dish out pillsg In the Mnnford Hospital she is a nurse, And she carries a pill bag instead.of a purse. Richard Cole with his ingenious mind Knows the sciences of every kind.l His synthetic rubber is now on the go, And no more does America have to ride slow. Here is ons, Miss Helen Ross, Who is now working for the Rod Crossg She teaches first-aid throughout the nation, Relieving the suffering all over creation. Gwendolyn Smith is a name quite fair That fits the girl with the blondish hairy She's raising cotton, potatoes, and corn, She's been a real farmerette since the day she was born A grand opera singer is Mary Glynn Hill, She sends through the audience quite a thrillg And when Mary Glyn is singing a song People could listen all the day long.
