David had to stand inside his lock- er just to reach his books. What about getting down a library book? Anything past the third shelf was out of his reach. Despite his size David still went out for the soccer team and played left halfback. He said that his size neither helped nor hurt his game. He was referred to as Pele by members of the varsity soccer team. Just what did David plan to do after high school?
