Of the one hundred and fifty girls from seven
study halls who participated in an lntramural
swimming contest thirty five were chosen to be
come members of the varsity swimming team
This program lasted for a month and ended with
the presentation of a banner to study hall 101
the intramural champs.
The newly formed team, according to coach
Lois Holland, was a well balanced squad which
produced standouts in almost every event from
back stroke to diving.
