MUNSON 1951-1963 During the last twelve years, the Mulvane school system had been intelli- gently and inspiringly headed by a man who had given unselfishly of his time and talent. A native of Creston, Iowa, Mr . Munson has been an educator for 33 years. He received his bachelor ' s de- gree from Emporia State Teachers College, Emporia, Kansas, and his master ' s degree from Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas . Before coming to Mulvane, Mr . Munson served as principal of Reno Community High School from 1946 to 1951. Previously, he was superintendent of schools at Madison, Kansas, and Can- ton, Kansas, and principal at Haven, Kansas . In this, his concluding year as su- perintendent, we the journalism class of 1963, pay tribute to Mr . W. D.
