The line played a very important part in the Wildcat ' s successful season. MIDDLE: David Strobel skirts around end for a good gain. The Wildcats were blessed with a number of good back- field men. BOTTOM: Don Reed lunges for an extra yard after he had already made a good gain. It was the fine blocking of the line and the good faking of the backfield that made plays like this possible. The wilkcats were supposed to have a poor team from the start. However, with a little extra effort they proved that they knew how to play football. They also learned the important thing called sportsmanship. ♦Mulvane 6 Mulvane 40 ♦Mulvane Mulvane ♦Mulvane Derby Harper Augusta Anthony Clearwater 1960 RECORD " •Mulvane Mulvane = Mulvane Mulvane Valley Center Caldwell Andale Belle Plaine B A S K 1 E 9 t B A L COACH JACK MILLER BOTTOM PICTURE, LEFT TO RIGHT: R.
