WE OUGHT TO WALK AS HE WALKED
It is God's will that His children should conduct themselves in a manner
befitting their exalted position. They should walk worthy of their high calling.
They "should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died
for them, and rose again" K2 Corinthians 5:l5l.
The Apostle Iohn lays the obligation upon children in the family of God to
Walk even as Christ walked. He Wrote, "He that saith he abideth in him ought
himself also so to walk, even as he walked' tl John 2:63. This involves Walking
in the light, even "as he is in the light" tl Iohn 1:77.
To walk as He Walked means to "walk in love" Ephesians 5:25. "Beloved,
if God so loved us, We ought also to love one another" Cl Iohn 4:llJ. "Love
suffereth long, and is kind" Cl Corinthians 13:47.
Enablement to Walk as He walked comes from the Spirit of God. He alone
can strengthen "the feeble knees" and cause us to "make straight paths" for
our feet. The Spirit's power is needed to overcome the opposition of the flesh.
"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh"
tGalatians 5:l6l.
"As ye have therefore received Christ lesus the Lord, so walk ye in him"
tColossians 2:67.

. . . TESTIFY THE GOSPEL" Acts 20:24
We of the Senior Class certainly wish to thank Multnomah for establishing
and grounding us in the Word. As a result We have been drawn closer to the
Lord. We can never thank the Lord enough for the Wonderful privilege of
attending here and sitting under the teachings of such a godly and faithful
faculty.
When we leave we will carry with us many happy memories of our three
years of training here. We will especially remember our class advisor, Dr.
Mitchell, who has been a Wonderful blessing to us.
As we think of the future, our prayer is that We might continue in the
study of the Word, coming to a better knowledge of Him who died for us, and
that we may be fully equipped to "testify the gospel" of Christ.

"OCCUPY 'TIL I COME" Luke l9:l3b
There are several things with which the Iunior class has been occupied
and blessed during this past year.
First, We are happy that We have had the privilege of helping to initiate
the new campus. Then, We have been blessed and thrilled by our studies in
the Word of God as His faithful servants heve opened it to us and have helped
us to grow therein. We have found as did the Psalmist, "The entrance of thy
Words giveth light." We feel a deep debt of gratitude to the members of our
faculty for their services, and We are especially thankful for the faithful advice
of Mr. Custis, our class advisor.
Finally, our occupation with Christ has been the most precious and the
most important part of our past years here at Multnomah. Even as the Lord has
stressed the value of Mary's devotion over Martha's labours, so We pray that
We may never become so occupied with our labours that We lose sight of Christ.

ABUNDANTLY ABOVE
"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we
ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." Ephesians 3:20
We of the Freshman class at Multnomah this year are deeply appreciative
to our God and Father for His keeping power and perfect guidance. Our trials
have not been few, but His grace is abundant, and most of all sufficient to us-
ward. Contemporary with our testings are our victories in Christ Iesus, in both
our personal and practical work. These victories were brought forth by the
prayers of faithful ones seeking His best for them and doing their best for Him
The Lord has blessed in our weekly prayer meetings, and our social times
together have played no small part in helping us draw closer to Him. Many
thanks are due to our advisor and friend, Dr. Bradley, for his loving counseling
and fervent prayers on our behalf.
We thank God for His blessed care this past year and are persuaded that
He will continue to guide us and reveal His word to us in following years at
Multnomah, and on to the field of His choice.

EARTI-IEN VESSELS
"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the
power may be of God, and not of us." II Corinthians 4:7
As once again we draw to a close another very important chapter of our
lives, we would just pause to again thank our Father for HIS marvelous revela-
tion that we, as "frail vessels of earth," are privileged to show forth the glory
of God. r
' Likewise, it is with deepest appreciation that we give thanks unto the LORD
for having permitted our paths to cross this year at Multnomah, and to see how
each of our lives is being fashioned together to form God's master-piece ever
following the Potter's form.
Finally, we praise and thank God as we have been able to get a glimpse of
HIS method for reaching the lost world today. GOD'S unchanging method is-
men and women. And the key for a man or woman of God is the Word of God

The Student Council experienced a grand year in serving the Lord as
A representatives of the Associated Student Body. The objective of the Council
has been to conduct all matters of business in a way of honoring to our Saviour.
One of the greatest desires has been to influence an increasing unity among all
members of the Student Body.
The members of the Council cooperated in many undertakings that expended
much time and sometimes interfered with personal plans, Special appreciation
must be extended to those who gave so cheerfully of their time.
l write in behalf of the Council in expressing gratitude to the Faculty
Advisory Committee for their cooperation in representing the Council at the
Faculty meetings. Their kindly advice and suggestions were appreciated.
We of the Council would not testify that this has been a year without trials
and tests but the Lord has been very faithful to answer the prayers of those
of you who prayed for the Council activities.
This has been a high privilege and a blessed experience representing the
Associated Student Body.

S.M.U. EXECUTIVE STAFF
"To encourage, promote, and provide opportunity for interces-
sory prayer for the mission field at home and abroad." This state-
ment from our constitution reveals the main purpose of this
organization.
Eleven prayer groups, representing the entire globe, bring
the student face to face with the actual needs of the missionaries
and give opportunity for prayer concerning these needs. The
S.M.U. ministry not only has an inward but also an extensive
outward aspect as missionaries from various fields and societies
present the needs of the world. This ministry reaches not only into
the hearts of the students but also into their pockets as weekly
offerings are taken and distributed quarterly to Mu1tnomah's
growing family of sons, daughters, and friends. During the past
ten years some 320,000 has gone out from the hearts of the
students into the work of missions the world around.
Working around the theme, "Stand in the Gap," found in
Ezekiel 22:30 the Student Missionary Union has placed before
the students the vast needs in God's harvest field today with
the aim that some of them may "pray-give-go-and stand
in the gap."

The Womens Council of the Multnomah School of the
Bible has as its function the drawing together of the women
students in a bond of love made sweeter by the Lord Iesus
Christ It is composed of elected officers and various rep
resentatives who meet each Tuesday morning to discuss
and pray about problems which may arise. How wonderful
it is to be able to take all things to the LORD knowing that
daily prayer lessens daily care.
Wonderful times of fellowship are had at parties and
teas, during which time we receive many rich blessings
and challenges.
We praise the LORD for our advisor, Mrs. Samuel
who so willingly gives of her time to counsel with each
one, offering many helpful suggestions. We also thank and
praise our wonderful LORD for the wisdom He gives, and
for the way He guides and directs in all things.

Youth for Ch,-isy Mt. Hermon Bible Conference
77
Multnomah's annual Missionary Emphasis Week,
in conjunction with the missionary conference of the
Central Bible Church, was held at the new campus
during the week of February I-8.
The theme of the conference was taken from
Ezekiel 27:30, "And I sought for a man among them
that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap."
This week fell between semesters. All classes
were set aside and the time was spent in sessions
with the missionary speakers who represented a
variety of fields and mission boards. The week was
filled with challenging messages to each heart to
answer God's call to service whether at home or
abroad.

"THIS IS THE WAY, WALK YE IN IT" Isaiah 30:21
Not too long ago we alumni were sitting in the classrooms of Multnomah
being strengthened in the Lord and learning "the Way" in which we were to
Walk. Many times we were overly eager to advance, but in those days the
Lord's Word to us might well have been "Their strength is to sit still," Clsa. 30:77.
We received the blessings of learning "the Way" at His feet by means of the
Word, the Spirit, and God's men. We are now walking in that Way through-
out the World. It is with thanksgiving that we look back upon the years our
Lord privileged us to study at Multnomah. Serving our Lord in the way He has
designated is now our joy.
