The young, inexperienced pucksters found the year frustrating and challenging in their efforts against more es- tablished teams. Even though they lost to powerful Cherry Creek, Chris Adamek felt they had played an excellent game. Team leaders this year were Gus Grievel, captain, Tim Himstreet, Matt Hoffman and Steve Boyd. SWIMMING SWIMMING A TEAM SPIRIT The Mullen Varsity swimming team, under the direction of Coach Jeff Shaw, was noted for its team spirit. It was that team spirit which qualified Chad Stedman and Dale Brabec for state competition, as well as the 400 Free Style relay team of James Wu, Jeff Shepard, Dale Brabec and Chad Stedman.
