LEAGUE One of the most exciting games of the season was Mullen's rematch with Aurora Central during the subdistrict tournaments. The Trojans was the only team to have mastered the Mustangs during the regular season. At the start of the third quarter Aurora Central led by 7 points but Mullen quickly picked up the missing points and remained neck to neck with the visitors. The excitement came in the last minute of the game. With a 68- 63 lead by the Trojans Coffey tossed in a jumper at :26. The Trojans were unable to inbound the ball allowing Coleman to score the winning basket with 16 seconds left in the game. Fans and friends streamed onto the court with joy.
