We opened the season with a letterman at every position, and five starters back from last year, Pat Towle was moved from guard to forward, and ably filled that position with an average of 7270 of her field goal at- tempts, and 60070 of her free throw attempts. Leading scorer on the team was Nan Heppler, who scored 595 points in 29 games for almost a 20 point average, This puts her total scoring for four years to 1395 points, which is an individual scoring record for girls at Mulhall. Twice this year she equalled the single game record of 35 points set last year by Bev Diehl. Biggest thrill of the season came with the winning of the third Dis. championship in the last four years, We met Orlando in the finals at Guthrie and defeated them 36-35 with Pat hitting a rebound shot in the last second of play. Although the season leaves us with 13 losses compared with 16 wins, we feel it has been a glorious and successful season. I -.s-.i-1., 5 U Q 'lf G .
