In selecting some worthy person,
or persons, to receive our yearbook
dedication, our staff thought of a
group that has done so much for us
and has received so little praise-
our parents.
To our parents whose lives have
been spent in working with our school,
with our community, and with us, we,
the yearbook staff of 1956, dedicate
this yearbook.

The Mulberry High School Building pictured above,
was constructed in 1917. The first high school
classes were conducted in the Lincoln School Build-
ing in the east part of Mulberry. The first class
to be graduated from the Lincoln School was the
class of 1913, consisting of those students who had
completed two years of high school. The first class
to graduate with four years of high school training
was the class of 1915. After the completion of the
Highland Building in 1917, classes were transferred
to the present high school building.
