Dear Graduates:
It is with pride and pleasure that we
will always recall the Class of 1962. Your
secondary education with its rich variety of
curriculums has been completed to prepare
you for a variety of life's activities. But
do not let your education cease now. May
it continue with higher education, experi-
ence in the business world and contact with
desirable people. All of these form strong
links in a chain which means ultimate
success.
The Muenster High School Adminis-
tration congratulate each member of the
class and wish you all every opportunity to
know life in its highest fulfillment.

L B. BRUNS, SUPERINTENDENT
Muenster Independent School District
Many people think of frontiers as something in
the past. Land frontiers are only one type among
many. Each new invention opens up an entirely
new field and also paves the way for other in-
ventions. The men and women who pioneered the
frontiers of yesterday were amateurs compared to
our pioneers in today's age of rocketry and atomic
power. The frontiers which face you as graduating
seniors cannot be pioneered with the horse, plow,
gun and brute strength, but rather with keen, alert,
well-trained minds. We here at Muenster High
School are proud to have been a part of your edu-
cation and hope that you have been inspired to go
on to new and more advanced areas of learning.
This new space age frontier is yours. What are you
going to do with it?

HOMECOMING - The Football Queen, Bobbye Tuggle, was elected by the squad and
was crowned at half-time while the band was in formation. The Coming-home
Queen, Mrs. Fette, was selected by the Ex-Students Association and was presented
at the Homecoming Banquet.
FHA INITIATION - Proud members smiled as initiates were introduced to formal
society at the FHA Initiation.
GIRLS' FOOTBALL - It happened again! Girls' Football Game. Saint Jo gave us a
tough time, but with that school spirit we came home the victor.
CHRISTMAS PARTY - "You'd better watch out, you'd better not cry!" At the Christ-
mas Party what did old Santa bring you? A doll buggy or a set of building blocks?
VALENTINE CARNIVAL - Instead of flying disks, we had flying darts - at hearts. The
Valentine Carnival Play, given by the sophomore class, introduced Don Cupid to
all local lovers. Watch that dart!
STYLE SHOW - Waiting off-stage, but taking a peek at the show on-stage, Style Show
models showed their clothes to best advantage.
SCIENCE FAIR - Einstein had to begin somewhere! Promising scientists exhibited their
offerings to a fascinated group of spectators.
SENIOR PLAY - "My Cousin from Texas" in Texas! No one laughed more than at our
Senior play, even if they didn't laugh at the right places. It was a "super" play
with a "super" cast.
FHA MOTHER-DAUGHTER BANQUET - Men were scarce, but the food was plentiful!
Even the girls who prepared the food seemed to enjoy the fruit of their labor.
JUNIOR PLAY - "Crazy but Cute" sums up the junior play. Making a silk purse of a
sow's ear can cause complications and confusion. The Junior's really had a good
time putting on this comedy, and, OF COURSE, all knew their parts.
ALL-AWARDS BANQUET - Everybody was decked out like sore toes at the best All-
Awards Banquet ever.
