Dedication A teacher with outstanding enthusiasm and dedication to students is a perfect way to describe business teacher Steve Rogers. His strong devotion to student activities' and willingness to give of his time are just a few of his .exceptional qualities. For 14 years, Rogers has been actively involved in Mt. Whitney's business department, teaching merchandis- ing skills, distributive education and a variety of TCOVE classes. He is senior advisor of Whitney's active DECA club and assists with activities in FBLA. He has also been involved with the coordination of competitive events at the national and state DECA conventions. ln addition, he is manager of the Mt. Whitney Trading Post and helps in the Finance Center. Rogers graduated from California State University at Fresno and did his graduate work in Business Adminis- tration. Prior to his start at Mt. Whitney in 1973, Rogers worked as a substitute teacher in the Fresno schools.. To you, Steve Rogers, we dedicate this 1987 OAK. lf Mr. Rogers keeps his classes exciting. Z. Many worked to gain valuable ex- perience. But, for the majority of the working kids it was to make big bucks. How to make a buck? To earn that cash you should first find a job that's fun, something that you'll enjoy doing. Being punctual and always keeping busy on the job are important if you want to keep that money coming in. McDonaId's new outfits look sharp on Rosa Solis. Stacia Roberts perfects her sales pitch behind the cosmetic counter at Penneys.
