They have many different obligations to keep them busy. They call roll, lead exer- cises, help to teach the various activities, keep the locker in order and check in tow- els from the laundry. The girls' gym classes are taught sports such as volleyball, basketball, bowling, badminton, shuffleboard, ping pong, soft- ball, tennis, and archery. These girls lessen the burden on the teacher and help her to maintain smoothly-run gym classes. Sixty-Eight PDDL STUDENT LEADERS The pool leaders help Mr. Streeter to keep the swimming classes running smoothly and efficiently.
