The purpose of the Girls' Athletic Association is to offer each girl in Mount Tahoma an opportunity to earn her athletic letter as well as to foster good sportsmanship and friendship. G.A.A. is open to all girls. To be eligible for a letter, a total of six points must be earned. Two team sports, two in- dividual sports, one hobby sport, and one extra, either team or individual, are required. Team sports available are volley- ball, basketball, softball, synchronized swimming, and drill team. Individual sports are badminton, archery, tennis, and plunges. A hobby sport is earned by fifteen hours of activities other than those organized by the school.
