Mount Tahoma's most vital organization is the one which has met regularly every morning in Room 143. lts importance lies in the fact that it is responsible for governing all student affairs. Council must authorize all posters and sales, approve all athletic events and social budgets, and must plan and execute the scl'1ool's extracurricular budget. But most important of all, it must effectively govern the Mount Tahoma student federa- tion.

One-Hundred-Eighteen VAL MORFORD LONI THORESON Secretary Treasurer ulndustrious labor , diligent, inexhaustable energy , eminent academic standards , these phrases can only begin to describe the goals and accomplishments which are credited to the Senior Class of 1964. This year's graduating class, feted as among the most outstanding in Mount Tahoma's history, has displayed an impressive combination of school spirit and con- scientious responsibility, coupled With top salesmanship and scholastic abilities. Zest and vitality wereobvious early in the year as the Class of '64 pulled ahead, maintaining a comfortable lead, to capture the award for the highest percentage in activity ticket sales. Efforts to enrich the class activity fund were many and varied as the seniors worked hard to build their treasury. Highlighting the campaign, a drive to sell Christmas cards was instigated early in October. As upperclass salesmen canvassed the city, results of the sales mounted to a total of more than SQULLUU. Small but mighty, the Class of 64 emerged as the top competitors in Pep Week Activities. The pep trophy, nylon contest, tug-of-war, beard growing contest, Brakeman Bill hat sale, and trash can competition were
