Lambertl The sophomore football team, With the help of coaches George Nordi and Iim McDonald, finished second in this year's race. They ended the season with a 4-2 record, their best in three years of competition. The moment of glory for the rookie T-Birds was their 19-6 victory over the Stadium Tigers. The sophomore gridmen never got their chance against Bellarmine, the only team they defeated last year, because both scheduled games were forfeited to the T-Birds. If the team keeps up the hard Work and improvement they have shown this year, We can expect a good varsity team in the future. One-Hundred-Twelve

Although they lost more than they won, their season was termed successful because of the fact that they twice defeated their school rival, the Golds. A With determination and hustle, these sophomore boys are looking forward to a crack at some reserve and varsity positions within the next two years. lt takes a lot of desire and a love of basketball to come to the early practices that these sophomores took part in. lf it wasn't for their willingness to work extra hard and their determination, their fine showing certainly could not have been possible. With Coach Ubben leading the way, these sophomores had a successful season and therefore should be given a hearty thanks for a job Well done. One-Hundred-Eleven
