Because of added strength, due to the large number of returning varsity lettermen, this year's reserve diamondmen are looking forward to a greatly improved season and possibly a city reserve champion- ship. This year the reserves played a number of games on their own home field, which was just finished this year. These talented reserves put a lot of strain on the varsity for starting positions, because they continually came up with sparkling performances to show varsity capability.
