Mr Benz-Miss Efost Publishing a school annuql is not an easy job. Each year the small group of people who undertake the task face all the problems that businessmen, artists, and writers must face. Circulation, that is, the distribution of the book, is one of the important phases of the work. Subscriptions must be collected and accounted for. Advertising is no less important in raising the money needed for publication. The staff must interest the businessmen of the community in advertis- ing in the book. All these records must be maintained with accuracy. Preparing the book itself is a long, difficult iob. The material to go into it is collected and processed. The book is planned and laid out step by step. Lists of names are compiled, photos Collected, copy prepared, and all this material must be fused into an interesting attractive annual. The staff works closely with several firms, the printer, photographer, the people who make the covers, and others. Students who join the staff must be prepared for work. Their reward comes with the realization that they have helped record another year in the life of our school. 0 TOP ROW: Juanita Pearson, Richard Behrendt, Ronald Hinson, Clarence Betzner, Earl Kisker, Carol Kuhlmann 0 ROW TWO- Diane Hauer, Emma Goetz, Richard Fieler, Dallas Cooley, Joan Jenkins, Gayle Horwarth, Miss Frost O ROW THREE: Mr. Benz, Donna Hauer, Martha Saunders, Renee Black, Evelyn Kist, Barbara Klenk. 0 ABSENT THE DAY PICTURE WAS TAKEN: Bill Mills. 0,0 rllqznio' A new organization was added this year to Mt. Healthy holds quite a few meet records and has always been the "team to beat." On this year's team are boys who are trying to break their own winning records from last year. Coach Freese's team enters the two-school and three-school meets, as well as the city- wide meets. They entered a total of eleven meets. The boys ranked second in five meets at N.C.H., first at Madeira on April 7, third at N.C.H. on April 15, third at Harrison on April l7, and second at NCH. on April 22. This year's squad is composed ol about 20 boys representing each class in the high school. 76 lla Mall The baseball team began the season with seven wins out of the first nine games. Unfortunately we cannot include scores for the whole season. High points of this first port of the season were Dorsey's one-hit shut-out over Colerain. Gene Schultes pitched a one-hitter against Reading, allowing one run. Leading batter for the first nine games was Schultes with a .400 percentage. MT. HEALTHY OPPONENTS 8 ........... N. C.
