DRISCO LL Coach 5 Sanwmfzq With the return of ten lettermen, the well conditioned Wildcats clawed their way through the 1951 football season to emerge as the victors, stumbling only once when they met Hugo in the state preliminaries. The basketball squad, under the guidance of Coach Simonson started out with great power and many victories, but later on in the season the law of averages caught up with them and put them in Fourth place. The baseball team hit their way through the season winning all but two games which cost them the League Championship. They slid in at the end of the season at second place. ln 1952 the cinder men had two track meets before the league and district meets. Four men out of the team lettered and two went on to state.
