Steve | zaj Sam Cooley. The undermanned Sophomore Foot- ball Team ran into stiff opposition this year and were unable to finish the sea- son with a win. Led by co -captains Joe Reyes, quarterback, and Dirk Williamson, most valuable player, the sophs played several fine games. Line- man Tom Gorman was selected as the most improved player. The frosh gridders fared a little better as they finished the season with a four win, three loss record in league. Co -captains Gilbert Adame and Steve Paz provided the leadership for the team, with Mike Garcia leading the offensive game, gaining 339 yards running.
