I would like to take this opportunity to thank my Aegir Staff and Editors in making this book a success , Our generation is a time where ideas are traded and opinions clash, to produce eternal truths. We are a generation wide open to the bitter-sweet smell of success and failure. And we are constantly in the search to find ourselves. We are these people, by this hard work you have produced our 1974 edition of the Aegir. I hope that when you look back in the years you think of all the good times you had. I would like to give my special thanks to Mr. Little for all his patience and time in this book, and also I would like to thank Mr. Wigton for all his time in taking pictures for us. We couldn ' t have done this book without them . Thanks Again ! Deana Clark Editor • 174

Mr. Jo..., .. . . Born: August 11, 1929 Passed Away: July 28, 1973 IN MEMORIAL TO MR. JOHN WESLEY LEE John Wesley Lee was a big man. He stood tall as . , , ,, , , paid attention to an orderly progression of meaningful pursuits; a man who prepared himself for eager service to his family, his creator, his community, and to himself. He was a great planner; he never left important developments to chance. John was much more than a skillfull technician and mechanic; he was an engineer of human relation- ships as well . He paid particular attention to the personal needs of students and teachers in his depart- ment, and was continuously relating those needs to the communities he served. People were after all, his greatest concern. John could reach the reluctant youth; he could overlook the temporary objectional symptoms in favor of the positive good that could result from virtually any situation. He had unusual vision for the potential achievement of others, as well as himself. He believed that EVERY PERSON could be REACHED and MOTIVATED TO REACH UP and TO DO his best, if the right approach could be found and applied.
