Dear Readerg As you look through this annual, may you find happy memories of the year gone by. It is my belief that how our children are prepared to accept responsibilities as world citizens will largely determine whether we shall enjoy peace, or be doomed to devastating war. The philosophy of the present administration of schools is that the schools exist solely for the benefit of the children and the community, and that every child should have an equal opportunity to develop his capabilities to the fullest extent. High School students, you are facing a future that cannot be safely charted because of the uncertainty of the present world situation. Of one thing you can be certaing you have schooling uninterrupted by war or trouble. You have enjoyed a full schedule of scholastic, social, and athletic activities. That is something no one can ever take from you. This annual will preserve those high school days for you. You will refer to it many tires in the years to come.
